What kept me busy

• Distributing workload according to projects priorities at the time
• Trying to meet expected deadlines
• Exchaging input between our designer and applying its inputs in order to reach a great user experience
• Meetings with clients as to give status on development
• Adjusting implementations in order to meet new necessities
• Analyzing the structure of the business models as to enforce the expected functionalities
• Rubberducking through the hardest times

With a year-long duration, my tenure as a software developer was defined by remote collaboration methodologies, enabling me to adeptly engage with diverse teams. Working within the framework of the Health Ministry provided invaluable insights into the intricacies of the sector, offering a profound understanding of its operations.

During this time, I actively contributed to the Portugal For Ukraine project, leveraging my skills to support efforts during the crisis. Additionally, I benefited from a closely-knit development process, maintaining regular communication with my superior for guidance whenever needed.

One of the highlights of my experience was gaining extensive knowledge about interoperability between machines, further enhancing my technical proficiency. Overall, this role not only enriched my professional skills but also deepened my appreciation for collaborative problem-solving and the meaningful impact of technology in the healthcare domain.

Initially joining with an expectation of development-oriented tasks, the role predominantly focused on database management and troubleshooting within the first two months. While this divergence from my initial expectations was unexpected, it provided a unique opportunity for me to immerse myself in database operations and problem-solving
